How's this for old? Last night I had on Chuck Berry's Greatest Hits while grilling up some chicken and sausage. Rolling Stone did a piece on the greatest guitar songs of all time and Johnny B. Goode was numero uno. When Chuck tears into that opening lick you know right away the man knows his business.

I'm a young 42, but my Dad played all those old records from his collection when I was growing so I have him to thank for my love of that era, my two older sisters brought me up on 60's and 70's rock and of course I did the rest. One of the saddest days of my life is when I caught my little brother using my Dads old 45's for targets for his BB gun. I could have killed him. Peggy Sue got murdered that day along with Donna and a few other lovelys.

Three TERRIBLE bands. I do not think I would have kept the radio dialed to that station after hearing the second song from that group.

Your lack of taste in music is overwhelming.
Shows how much you know. Foo Fighters are not anything close to my favorite band (not even in my top 50), but this is a quality album. It is a quasi-concept album, and if you have only heard Monkeywrench, My Hero, and Everlong then you have missed the best parts of the album.
