I predict he'll be in the 200 lb. category around Christmas.

As an AD, Dooley has gotten more dirt flying on the Tech campus in the last few months than I've seen in the last 30 years. He's also done a great job reaching out to the masses, including alumni and former players.

As a head coach Dooley has only disappointed me twice (so far); the Nevada loss and his inability to sign a top quality QB.

Then again, Rome wasn't built in a day.

Not to sound anti-Dooley, but if I'm not mistaken, Dooley had nothing to do with that dirt flying as muc as the Tech student body voting in a new fee to have all these new facilities. I don't of anything Dooley did to get them to vote for it. Of course, I could be wrong. Of course, he is responsible for the locker room upgrade, but I take your post to refer to all the new construction like the tennis courts, etc...

Don't let DONW hear that....he's still fired up that we signed Cameron and didn't sniff the Villonia QB.

I know that & I feel bad for DON---he worked his butt off trying to get someone, anyone from our staff to take a good, hard look at the Villonia QB with no response. I have no idea how that happened with this current staff BUT, it did. I know he is NOT a fan of Cameron BUT, Cameron belongs to us, LA TECH (still don't know if I like LA TECH), & as a result we all need to do our best to support him & all of our other players. Knowing DON, he will not stay angry very long. He is absolutely the BEST our school has in a FANatic!

I don't use it. We are LOUISIANA TECH.

But I understand branding so I'll tolerate its use and not correct anyone anymore.

Seeing as though he has plently of maturing to do physically speaking, would you expect that he sees a redshirt this coming season?

I would doubt that he has much chance of seeing the field under any forseeable circumstance, so that would make the most sense to me.

I think you are right on target UNLESS we have an injury disaster.

dirtylegacy refuses to call it La Tech. He hates it, and gets mad when I say it.

I was really interested in hearing how this guy looked. To me, he's got the pedegree and size to be good. I definitely plan on bringing him surfing with a group of us the next time a storm hits the gulf.

The pedigree because Matt Leinart boinked his sister?

I believe all the siblings are scholarship athletes. I think I read where the dad was an athlete as well.

As far a Leinart goes, maybe she boinked him?

Oh I didn't know that. Going on the info I had - that's one curious way to recieve a pedigree!

Glad to hear he is doing well. I'm not sure anyone was expecting much, only because this occurred after the recruiting hype train stopped rolling.

I love these kinds of surprises!

I did not really mean to hype this guy that much---he simply has a pretty good arm. Let's see what happens when he is in the pocket, snarling DE's cursing him, spitting on him, & doing their best to break his neck. Angry DT's wanting nothing more than to squash him like a raunchy roach---& his coaches screaming at him when he makes a mistake. THEN, we will find out what he's got.
