These guys put on a Tech uniform for every one of us who pay to see them play, who buy season tickets, who buy Tech products, who go to all the games, who listen to or watch every televised game, who give to ATAC, who live and breathe Tech football. Yes, they damn sure do put it on for US. I give a shit if HD was embarrassed, I give a shit if WE were embarrassed, I give a shit if I was embarrassed. YOU may not give a shit, but a lot of us damn sure do. I work with LSU fans, I DREAD going to work after a night like Wednesday. You really are a jerk sometimes, you know it?

I could care less if he was embarassed in front of his "business executives" those kids don't play for HD's enjoyment. Does HD need a pacifier or some milk and cookies?

People are really embarrassed because we lost a football game? We played horribly, but I don't see how a fan gets embarrassed because his team lost: something over which he has no control.

You obviously have never had any kind of office job.

It doesn't have anything to do with embarassed about TECH itself, but the performance on the scoreboard. We played pretty decent, but couldn't score and couldn't beat the refs either.

I think they were out gameplanning for hawaii. I know I gameplan for the upcoming week sometimes by going play golf.

I think they were just blowing off some steam by pounding a little ball that doesn't move. I do that.

I find it hard to believe that it is really as bad as you make it out to be. I work with LSU fans and last year before the game I kept telling them it won't be a blowout and we have the talent to keep up with them. Monday the only thing I got from them was a copy of the box score.

Folks this is, whether we like it or not going to take more time than some of us are going to like. We will have to get more talent and to get that talent have an atmosphere and facilities to attract them. So to get where we want to be it is going to take our support in attendance and money. Some on these post remind me of fans to the south ready to run the coach and player down and out of town at the first sign of trouble or lack of a national championship. I want to win as much as anyone, but I do not ever want to do it at the cost of the true commitment to a clean program who will maintain one of the best graduation rate in the state if not the nation. This is College lets not become another semi-pro team as the other southern school in the state.
