I guess it would be good to clarify chairbacks to avoid any confusion.

Obviously there are chairbacks in Joe Aillet. I have season tickets, but I do not have a chairback.

In the Indy Bowl, there are also chairbacks that were allotted to Tech. This is what is sold out according to the ticket office.

Do you think we were allotted less than 200 chairbacks at the Indy Bowl? Maybe, I am just curiuos.

No we were allocated less than 2,000 CHAIRBACKS -

There are over 20,000 chairbacks in I-Bowl Stadium...

Remember chairbacks are allocated on a POINTS SYSTEM through LTAC - season tickets and level of donations drive who gets what....

I'm a season ticket holder but yeah, the girl said they had no more Indy Bowl chairbacks to give. It looked to me like there were a lot of them at Indy Stadium, but of course I don't know how many Tech gets to sell right now.

It is a bowl, but it doesn't seem as if the IBowl is going to have the stroke to get anything more than a MAC or Belch team to come to S'port and play us - hope I'm wrong, but the pool of (somewhat) quality opponents is dwindling fast

I just went to their (MEMPHIS) site. The moron that came on here was not correct, Memphis has NOT accepted the St. Pete Bowl. Memphhis is still in play.

I don't care. I am happy we are bowling. After their victory though, I really think it will be ULL. I think the I-Bowl Execs will have their hands tied with this Sun Belt thing, and I think they'll go with ULL for location reasons. My two cents. Which really means about as much as well...two cents.

I don't think they have their hands tied with the Sun Belt thing, but I do think it may come down to a Sun Belt team is the best option available. I agree with Dwayne. Better to play the Cajuns than Northern Illinois or Western Michigan.
