Shreveport/Bossier is FULL of LSU pretenders. It never ceased to amaze me the number of people that graduated from LSU-SHREVEPORT and conveniently neglected to make that distiction anytime they mentioned their alma mater. "The LSU accounting/business,etc department is very good." I am not disrespecting LSU-S because it is an excellent university. I doubt the departments in BR and all of the satellite campuses are that tied together. I just have little respect for deceptive people.

I really liked the folks that referred to Baton Rouge as the main campus. As in "I went to the main campus my senior year." Or, "I was at the main campus my freshman year."

Worked with a few people that attended NLU but you would never know it from all the purple/gold and LSU paraphenalia in their office. Only clue was if they had their degree on display. Thankfully I never came across any Tech grads like that.
