They closed only one in San Antonio and it was within 50 yards of another.

I passed the new Route 33 Grill at noon and there were a lot of cars there. Does anyone know anything about it? Who opened it?

Where is it? I go that way everyday but guess I've been dodging too many orange cones to notice a new restaurant unless it's further north than I go on 33.

That's all I needed to hear. It has to be good if they are running it.

    Re: Ruston Eating Places

I haven't been to Ruston in a while, so where's the best place to get a steak? Location would help since I'm planning a visit in April.

    Thanks!

If you haven't done so already, be sure to mark Burger King off your list. We went for lunch there yesterday, and they were out of hamburgers! About a dozen of us just turned around and left. Not my favorite anyway but went cause I had a coupon.

I'm about done with fast food places anyway, and we generally only stop out of necessity like he other night after my son's soccer practice. We can't eat before because it's too early, and if we cook afterwards it will take too long and be too late, so we just drive through. Well, we drove through Taco Bell/Pizza Hut. My son wanted the cheese pizza. I ordered it and the girl told me they weren't making them. So, I went to order another pizza and she said they weren't making them either. So, I thought they were out and asked her if they were just out of pizzas. She said no, they just weren't making them. So, they had the pizzas but just weren't making them. So, we left. They missed out on two taco bell orders that would have gone along with the pizza order.

I've read this whole thread over time, but can't remember............did anyone say anything about China Wok ?? I've only been there once, and that was several years ago -- I'm thinking maybe it was right soon after Wong's closed ?? Anyhow, best I recall, the Mongolian Grill stuff was pretty good ??

How about the Popeyes here in Ruston that is always out of chicken biscuits...they have chicken and they have biscuits but they have no chicken biscuits.

Or you drive thru the drive thru and somebody sticks their head out the window to see if there is anyone in the drive thru and never take your order but they keep peeping out the window.

Or you drive thru the drive thru and nobody sticks their head out the window nor do they ever acknowledge your presence.

Has anyone else experienced this poor service? I'm pretty much done with Popeyes I do believe.

Same thing with Soccer and Baseball practice. I hate fast food but we are forced on those nights. I actually had Zaxby's chicken fingers tonight and I was happy.
