I don't either, but then I'm still having trouble dealing with the flat bill ball caps kids want to wear. Their lyrics are unusually understandable.
I saw them live at Voodoo a few years ago. They were not very memorable. I know people like them, even some critics, but I don't really get them.

In my college days during the late 1960's it was a turbulent time. As with all generations we listened to music that expressed what we felt. This was one of the groups many of us really enjoyed.
The lead singer died this date 38 years ago at the young age of 27. I remember his death well because it was just 3 weeks after my marriage. I don't endorse his self-destructive lifestyle but his music remains great.
I hope you enjoy some of the great music of the late 60's.
