Well, you gave 'em some game in the first half. At least you weren't blanked by Notre Dame or suffered a RUTS by USC. Oh...Nevada and SJSU are hurting....

I think they will be this years Ole Miss. They are A LOT better than last year.[/quote
NO WAY!!!!!!!!! The only SEC team that they will beat is MISSISSIPPI ST!
The things that I was afraid of came out tonight -
1) Malzan's offense rolling up yards
2) Stupid mistakes on our part
3) Having to score more than 20 pts to win
4) Auburn was Auburn
Like I said before we ever went into fall camp - give me 7-5 and a bowl birth and I have a Merry Christmas -
They probably could have beaten us worse than they did -
And those of ya'll who thought NAVY lost alot - guess again, the Dawgs better go to school this week on defense or it could be a Ricesque performance next week in Annapolis...
WE have got to get that game if we have any realistic shot at 7 wins
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Navy looked good. I think it will be tough to get to 6 wins.
I don't. Don't kid yourself. Our ass whooping tonight was a direct result of our inability to tackle defensively, and our inability to move the ball offensively. Our beating had very little to do with how good Auburn is/will be. I saw Auburn make a TON of mistakes tonight. As bad as we played tonight, LSU would have probably beaten us 65-3.

This Auburn team will maybe...maybe win 3 games in the SEC this year. SEC teams won't miss wide open receivers all over the field, they won't miss open field tackles, they won't take poor angles on outside containment, they won't run a screen pass every other play, and they won't kick it short to give Auburn a short field with 27 seconds to go in the first half. I haven't seen Auburn's schedule to know their non-conference, but I am guessing 7 wins is the max for them with 4 or 5 also possible.![]()
Yep/ We looked like the team that has been practicing in shells during fall camp.
