Service providers, like a bank teller, who are in the middle of a transaction with you, answers the phone and proceeds to provide service to the phone caller and ignores the customers who were there first. Put the phone caller on hold or transfer the call and get back to the most important customer . . . the one in front of you!

People saying Division II, when referring to Division I-AA (FCS).
I was unfriended on facebook, the other day, when I told them Northwestern was not a Div II school, and that it is normal for a top 25 school to play I-AA schools.* He was slightly peeved because LSpoo has them on the schedule for next year (he said something about any top 25 school being bumped out of the rankings for playing a Div II school).
*My actual comment included "get your facts straight before shooting your mouth off."
There are way too many ignorant people out there that claim to be sports fans.
When people ask me when Tech is moving up to D1.
I have quite possibly the loudest motorcycle in Ruston. Loud pipes save lives my friend.
Rocks getting thrown up and hitting my truck on the interstate by whatever means.
I have a neighbor who rides a bike that sounds like George Jetson's "car". It can hit 180 mph and he rides it all the time. He's alive.
But, I say BS to that excuse. It's some kind of macho thingy, like making yourself believe the bike has more power, yeah baby! It's obnoxious. No one has to hear you 3 miles away.
What about real cyclists? Ya know, the Lance Armstrong types? They ride along highways and streets. Can't hear them miles away.
Saw some bikers gathered outside a pub wearing T-shirts that had Harley on the back and "Asshole" printed on the front. I said to them: "truth in advertising." They didn't get it, apparently.
I know, you don't care. If you did, you would might consider what your loud bike does to disturb the peace. But, "-------" is appropriate, ain't it.
But, this is only a peeve thread. No biggie!
They also wake up sleeping babies, who finally fell asleep after an hour of "quiet time before the car ride.
