All I have heard so far are proposals. Until I see it in writing (memo) I will not post them.

    That probably won't change soon.

Underage drinking is a huge part of growing up. They have to learn to either hide it or have the confidence to bold-face lie about it when confronted.

Or the cops could use their basic judgement and know that a kid having a beer in hide away park is not gonna hurt anything. If anybody can find out, I would honestly like to know how many MIP's are written at LSU games? Also, how many agents are working LSU games compared to Tech games.

If we can just keep the cops and agents out of there and let our students tailgate without having to worry about getting tickets for drinking, it could be a cool place to be on Saturday's. Saw them right tickets for at least 30 minutes in hide away on Saturday. And we wonder why our students come out and enjoy themselves like every other school in America.
Typical M.O. for our local enforcers....round 'em up in an enclosed area and start writing tickets. End result of this will not be less drinking, just more binging in the car or behind the tree.

It got so bad at Ole Miss games that now EVERYONE has to drink out of Dixie cups. No cans.

And I've heard that its just awful in Gainesville.

Boy, times sure have changed, especially for the students. I can remember when the UB sponsored an annual Spring Fling with beer trucks and several bands, all of the events took place on the intramural fields.

Nope, and no more Beaux Arts out at the old Fairgrounds. We may not have had all the bars that they do now but we always found a way to party.

From The Horse's Mouth: Cops have been instructed to leave the fraternity tailgates alone. Hideaway may have been an attempt to keep the high school kids under wraps but I have been told that the current admn was really set on relaxing some rules for a better "Gameday Experience".

May need to clairfy. The slad is not at the end of the steps it is off to the side and down the hill a bit. Just made another pavillion. 20 x 40 I think.
