Tom Petty - Mary Janes Last Dance
Spyder Turner, suckas.
I entered "Safety Dance" into a new channel on Pandora and got the BEST 80s playlist EVER!
I have a question, and I wasn't sure whether to post it in here or in Comments that Don't but I chose here:
How long can a song be crappy-but-catchy before it should be declared legitimately good? Because today I heard, no lie, the 5th person I know (including myself) say that the Lady Gaga Paparazii song is "horrible, but catchy". Its a pop song, so isn't that the point? Should I declare it "good"? I am concerned about myself.
Listen to me ... no matter what Guisslap tells you ...
You don't have to dislike a song just because it gets overplayed on Top 40 radio.
Just because gaggles of teeny-boppers are singing along, doesnt mean you're cant enjoy it too.
If you like a song, you like it. Crank that $h!+ up, wiggle your rump, and hold your head high.
And speaking of guilty pleasures, this song has been stuck in my head a little this week. Not as much as Free Falling, but quite a bit. It's a little bit "Grey's Anatomy" (if that makes sense, maybe "twee" is the word I'm looking for), but I love those glottal stops for some reason.

gotta admit: i like it, too.
this is what i've had stuck in my head all day (it was playing at sonic saturday and it's been stuck in my skull ever since).
on the way home from work the community college radio station played led zeppelin's excellent cover of this song.
