Thumbs Up Giving Early Credit to Ross

I have been very critical of Ross Jenkins so far this year, and deservedly so I believe. But he has been playing very well today. He even overthrew some passes. It has opened up running lanes for Porter. Hopefully we can keep this up.

Cameron has a quicker release to me and little odd arm action high over the top, but effective. One real nice throw with rest short dump offs we like to run and let guys run with it. Offense went south 4 th quarter and gave time and field position to Idaho and our defense died in 4th quarter as they could not stop them.

Possibly an understatement for the whole board in general (not just you).

You are entitled to an opinion.

Re: Giving Early Credit to Ross

I had to leave during the 3rd Qtr to take the kids trick or treating, then had a kids Halloween party that we went to following the trick or treating. I was able to listen to the game, so I am familiar with what all happened. I thought that Ross did well in the first half from watching the game. I thought it sounded (is that a real word) like Cameron did well by listening on the radio. I still can't believe we lost this one. I get out of my SUV to walk to about 3 houses and we were up 13. I come back and we are down 1. I am still in a little bit of shock because I couldn't vent and ruin my kids Halloween. :bigcry:

Good games by both Ross and Coby to tonight! Also RP, Cruz and Morris played well and caught a lot of balls!

Basically we saw what we've known all season. They both have strengths and they both have weaknesses. Their strengths are different, which is why I've been saying over and over and over again that we need to find ways to work them both in.

We've known CC has a stronger arm and a quicker release, and we saw how that created different problems for the defense. Mix that in more often with RJ's experience and game management skills and could have made this a fairly different season.
