Yo Dirty..did you try using some of the "cooling" spices/herbs like cilantro/mint/sweet chiles ect as a sub for some of the others yet? Just wondering if the apha acid content of these is lower to help season some stuff for ya untill your back to the spicy stuff.

Not yet. To be honest, I haven't really been able to eat anything of substance until this past week. Once I'm fully comfortable in my new situation, I'm going to start trying stuff. I've had to cut back quite a bit on salt as well, and I thought that would be terrible, but to be honest, I've found that I'm enjoying the more natural taste of the food without any salt.

Are you talking about Sunday sales? A little birdie told me last week Portico's will serve Wine and Beer on Sunday's beginning in 3 or 4 weeks. Rabb's and San Miguel's are also open on Sunday's and they are serving liquor. Btw, Rabb's bar is open til midnight on Sunday's, not sure about San Miguel.

Package stores are definitely not open on Sundays right now. It would be cool though. I used to complain about Ruston blue laws until I moved to Connecticut for a year and couldn't buy ANY alcohol, beer included, after 9 pm ANY day of the week.

I heard that too, but when I called the Keg Package a few Sundays ago nobody answered.

Farmerville sells after 2:00 pm on Sundays. If you know the right people it doesn't matter what time it is.

What's he deal w/Athens? They were selling beer on Sunday back in the early 80's. Is Athens even a township?
