Ruston Eating Places

I'm hearing good things about the new sushi place in Ruston. What say you guys?

What's the name of it? My son eats at a sushi place that he says is really good, but I can't think of the name.

The sushi place downtown is called RAW, but I haven't gone yet. The place on campus is Tsunami, and it's actually decent (especially considering it's campus dining)

RAW is the one I'm hearing about that is good.

I was going to say Raw Bar, but thought maybe that wasn't the actual name. Tsunami is good, but he said Raw is excellent.

Tsunami is actually pretty good.. but Raw beats it hands down. The sushi combination (6 pieces nigiri + california roll) is pretty good!

RAW is as good as I have had. For a while I thought Samurai was the best, but RAW is every bit as good. Much better sushi than the Bistro.

My nephew was the main architect and designer of the place. I have not eaten there yet but keep hearing it is excellent.

If it's as good as the one in Monroe on Garrett Rd. east of Belk in the mall . . . a big thumbs up!

I've heard mixed reviews, but I've never eaten sushi before and not sure I want to.

Order the baked sushi.

I have not eaten at any of them so I am just passing along my son's reviews. He likes Samurai. Bistro, not so much and he said it is expensive. Raw is his favorite.

We love the Bistro. I haven't been in the evening - but lunch is really nice and not that expensive. They have the best French Onion soup I have ever had.

I liked Bistro's sushi. Nigiri or sashimi is the way to go. I am not sure if they do rolls.

I don't know, but I wish we would get a Greek/Lebanese so I can get my gyros and shawerma.
