“Towie Barclay of the Glen, Happy to the maids, But never to the men.”
The next time I am in Ruston, I will probably be looking for a good cup of coffee. Any clues on where I can find one (besides Starbucks)?
Tell ya what, the one's I'll NEVER go back to are Popeyes, Burger King, and Sonic(California Ave). The Ruston establishments have some of the rudest and most apathetic employees I think I've ever run across. Honestly, I can't remember the last time ANY employee at one of the above mentioned has ever said "thank you" or "have a nice day."
"I don no nuffin bout why it cost dat merch. I jus punch deese buttons in her."

Does Ruston have a Tropical Smoothie? Great shakes and sandwiches. We've also got a Taco Bueno- much, much, better than Taco Bell. Ruby Tuesday's is also real good. In the last 5 years there's been a bunch of restaurants built in Conway. If anybody's thinking of building a restaurant in Ruston, they should come to Conway and check out the ones here.
Since I don't drink coffee, I can only comment on what I've heard about the coffee: the Frothy Monkey is a coffee shop (http://www.frothymonkey.com/) located in downtown Ruston. I've been a few times: Neat little shop, not corporate....decent smoothies.
It's a swanky joint that usually caters to the liberal arts students (reading/writing poetry, etc.).
Evidently they're opening a shop in Nashville...
What are they doing to Huddle House? Remodeling? Closing? Changing to something else? I'm not recommending coffee there by any means, but the little old men in town met there for years for coffee and gossip.
