    Vehicle Handgun Mount

A friend of mine has developed a Handgun Mounting System for your vehicle, bed, office desk, etc.
It is designed to mount with your holster.

He is a link to the website he created yesterday.
Make sure you click each picture to read more about it.

Considering where that is mounted in the pics, would the weapon be considered concealed?

Does it matter in Louisiana? In Georgia, I believe, your car is considered an extension of your home, so you can conceal whether your licensed or not. Of course, there's no good reason not be licensed in Georgia.

    Re: Vehicle Handgun Mount

If it is fully enclosed in your car it does not matter. Now, when I'm not inside my truck I put mine away (out of sight) so that it is not broken into. Same as the georgia law mentioned above, it is considered an extension of your home.

I was trying to find the exact wording because I've found it before. But try http://www.legis.state.la.us/ and type in title 14, section 95, 95.1, 95.2, 95.6, 95.7, 95.8. Somewhere in there.

Main thing is that you don't need a permit to have it inside your vehicle, and you don't need a permit to conceal it inside your vehicle.
