Has anyone stated the best lesson we can learn from that game tonight??? Play your biggest games in your HOME stadium.
Yeah I saw it, but it's nothing new. I remember a Tech basketball game I went to several years ago in Monroe and saw the "Tuck Fech" sign.
Does anyone know if Tech has a game tonight? Damn. Y'all kill me.
I was struck by how similar are our two teams. Both offenses can score. Both defenses are weak in the secondary and both defenses wear out in the 4th quarter. IMO, their first unit defense equals ours, but we have a small edge in depth. That depth is offset by ulm being better coached. I call it a draw.
On offense, while we have a good one, they have the better QB. Their RB's (really rb singular) do a good job of making yards after first contact. Thanks to our freshmen, our rb's are better and we are much deeper. While their wr's are good, we again are better and much deeper. Our kicking game is far superior. Again I see them as better coached (more capable of varying the pace and better at adapting to what the defense is doing), but the difference is less than defensively.
Overall, we have a better team, but it would be a track meet and the difference is not as great as it would be if they didn't have a coaching edge on both sides of the ball. Just my opinion.
WTH is this crap:

I dont know what's worse, seeing ULM play well or the outright jealousy of some of our fans. I watched the game at the casino and I can tell you that there was plenty of interest as people were cheering like hell for ULM. Even with the two losses, ULM are already winners this season. However, as I stated in another thread, if Tech can beat a lowly ILLinois team and an average Virginia team, the focus will quickly swing to Tech. But conversely, no one is going to give a damn about Tech only beating WAC teams. They just won't care.
1-2...that is all.
Thanks for the red dot johnny lol
I'll be a sport about the red dot but does anyone want to help me get back into green? I'm a loyal Tech fan and certainly don't deserve to be amongst the Tech haters. I also don't think that the opinion of one person should put me in red so quickly.
So how were the concessions? More variety? Enough? Long lines? Ice cold drinks? Money to make change, etc., etc? Supplies in restrooms? Just curious how their Aramark (they have them, too?) crew managed a big crowd.
