For the past 5 to 6 years Brando has been all about the "Fly in the Ointment" and imploding the BCS....

Granted he is still employed by CBS and hosts their studio show, but there has been no greater champion of the non-AQ schools than Timmie B

Didja know Timmie B wanted to be Tech's football color analyst in the 1970s, when the late, great Weldon Walker died?

He called the Nitzer for an interview, but Dave turned him down. I think Dave was going for Lanny James at the time . . . . . not!

Just turned on the Tim Brando show and he has Tech helmet on display where he did have an lsu helmet.

It was The Journal. They had quite a sports staff back in the late 70's, early 80's, including our own John James Marshall.

Wow, I am S'port native and did not remember Paul. JJ is a good friend and also coached me in American Legion summer ball way back in the early 80's...
