All of this is why I don't follow basketball (besides Tech) anymore.

Kentucky got nearly every call in the Shocker game and they should of went down

Said thing is - WSt would of not made the tourney if they had not won their tourney due to the name on the jersies
The worst "non-call" of the tournament.......Gonzaga blocked a easy two pointer by Northwestern with 4:54 remaining that would have made it a 3-point game. But NO "goal tending" was called by game officals even though the Gonzaga player clearly had his hand completely thru the cylinder when he made the block. And to make matters even worse, the dumbass game officials gave the Northwestern coach a Technical Foul when he complained.

Suddenly, what should have been a 3-point game was suddenly a 7-point game....and Gonzaga got the next possession. Gonzago ended up winning by 6. Talk about being "jobbed".

These game officials shouldn't be allowed to ever work an NCAA Tournament game again.

Yes that was blatantly bad -

They should of went to the review and fixed it (even though I don't think they can in that instance under the rules) and not of ejected the coach -

They would of been reprimanded by the NCAA but hailed by the general public sans the Zag fans

The NCAA really needs a referee CZAR in all sports - get rid of the association assignments and conference assignments and just have NCAA officials

No truer words have been spoken on this thread. Tune into any national talk radio show this week and if you listen long enough you will eventually hear about how terrible the officials have been in this tournament. I do not really care about Northwestern or their basketball program, but I cannot help but feel they might have won that game, if not for one of the worst calls of all time in the tournament.

Yep. They are just like the "deep snapper" in football; if you know their name, they likely did something wrong.

At this moment I think Sportdawg Jr. has the only bracket with his Final 4 still playing. Good job young man!

    Zaga vs. Xavier

Awesome! Won't use the "m" word. But, still, this great stuff.

On another note, I hope MBB doesn't follow WBB with the silly rules changes. Namely, quarters, and that STUPID rule that allows inbounding the ball up-court in the final 2 mins, like the stupid NBA. The Florida finish shows why that rule is stupid and not necessary.

Sportdawg, I guess you are showing Jr who the boss really is. Let him know I would be willing to trade brackets with him right now. Tell him we think he did a great job!

I think I'm cheering for my son to win the tourney - the best I can finish is second.

Therefore I'm cheering on Gonzaga to win and Oregon over UNC.

UNC now has 20 Final Four appearances.

Zaga, SC, and Oregon have a grand total of 1 between them. And that being Oregon back when Hitler was still in power in Germany.

This is good for college basketball. New blood!

It's hard not to cheer for Frank Martin and South Carolina this year. Amazing turnaround for a traditionally moribund basketball program.
