I would feel great about this if I had confidence in our returning quarterback. I think the defense could continue to get better next season. I feel the defense made great strides this season, the offense not so much.

We're going to miss Scott at RB terribly next year. I'm not sure that we have anyone on the roster that can step up and fill his shoes. It goes without saying that J'Mar's play must improve if we expect to improve on last years 6-6 regular season finish. I fear we're going to have a very anemic offense in 2018.

That is exactly my fear. We are going to HAVE to have J'Mar step up and a couple of running backs to fill the void. Defense should be fine, though, and we may have to win by holding opponents to a very low score.

We'll have to replace them like we replaced Dixon, I dont see anything to worry about with that. Unless theres some reason you think the next guys up arent any good.

I'm going to miss his toughness. The kid would not easy go down on first contact. He's short but one of the strongest RB in CUSA. We need our guys to hit the weight room this off-season. Also, I don't think Boston has fumbled the ball while at Tech.

We are going to have to hope for that Manny Diaz SCORING defense we had a few years ago, I just do not see the material there on offense to see much of a change. I HOPE I am wrong, but our offense has to make some huge strides to become competitive outside of conference USA and the belt.

did you see Frisco bowl ? I am optimistic that our offense can step it up big time. That said I am always optimistic--just don't see have 70 players miss practice and game and hope QB skips baseball. Most of us see a lot of talent in Jmar --just need confidence in line and receivers-- he will be Junior with a lot of experience. He was MVP of bowl game -- lets start with clean slate this year-- I did my share of whining last year but cross my finger ...

tickles me how few posters do not recognize we led nation LAST YEAR in yardage by defense off turnovers and scored a ton of points -- I absolutely see the talent -just need it to be healthy this year and we sure got some excellent talent that signed -- I think if these guys stay healthy and get Jmars confidence we will be solid--

I think we see that, which is why we stated that we will need to really depend on our defense next year - unless our offense really steps up their game. I hope that J'Mar really finds his stride and we have some great running back to step up and replace our production there. If we have that PLUS our defense, we will be in great shape.

Honestly seeing this just makes me upset that our HC felt the need to split our RBs for half the season.

What would our season have been like had we not had to switch every down so Scott couldn't get into a rhythm?

?? both played hurt a lot this season but Boston ( who I I have great admiration for Ran 187 times and caught 20 passes combined about 1250 yard on about 207 touches

Jarred had 119 runs and 13 passes - for combined just over 600 yards. Craft was a little better blocker --

Point is both played hurt at times and Coach has to factor that in ... Boston had ball in his hand about 75 times more than Craft . Amazes me all the time how much second guessing goes on that shows complete lack of thinking things out and facts ignored

Boston 207 plays with ball and Craft 132 --

I remember Boston getting turf toe towards the end of the season and still played through it. What other injury did he face?
