In other words they weren't waiting around to be "inspired" by a womens basketball championship. They won a womens basketball championship because they were inspired!!!!!! They were on the move before that National Championship ever happened. They were tired of losing went out and found the best coach they could find and she got the job done! They found the best FB coach they could and he is getting the job done, etc....
Kim was already hired before this vision was in place. They did this vision in 2002, I am sure that they appreciate the input she had when they were coming up with it.

Yes after a 9-9 WBB Big 12 campaign. I'm sure that's what inspired them.

    You are grasping for straws.

Nothing more needs to be said

You are putting more into that quote than what is there. Only an idiot would attribute the FB success to the WBB success.

Do you think the men's tennis national championship is what inspired the WBB team to win the NC in 05?

No I just know that you come on here like a total B. and criticize anyone that wants to talk about the obvious. Is there anything that can be done about it no. And there probably shouldn't be because frankly its really not our place. But why did they test the runner from Africa. Because they had suspicians and those suspicians came to fruition and she was no longer allowed to compete. If you want to play ostrich then do it. I have more compassion for gender confused and gays and lesbians then you will ever shake you judgemental arse at.

I didn't say it that was the President of the University that said it.

No he didn't. Read the quote again. He never said KM's success is why the FB team is doing better.

I'll take it a step further. One RG3 Heisman is worth at least 5 WBB National Championships in publicity, donations, Etc....

I didnt say he said that, He said that Baylor University would be devestated if she was not there.
He didn't say a particular sport he said the University would be devestated. That is what happens when you love your job and you value everyone around not only your program but the University in general.

What RGIII was great that is a huge accomplishment. What Griner did was incredible was a huge accomplishment.

RGIII and Griner are both the best in the sport they play. He was talked about on Tuesday night and was even on ESPN while dancing with Griner after the win.

No one ever said that KM went in and fixed the football program, what was said was that she took an expectation with her to Baylor and since arriving there in 12 short years the athletic program has turned around.

The USA Today Article plainly pointed that out, before Mulkey no one gave Baylor much of a thought in any of the so called major sports (Basketball or Football) I say that with irritation because I feel all sports are major to those athletes playing them.

Mulkey is invaluable to Baylor and that is what was said in that article.

You can't possibly be serious! Equating the rise of Baylor football to the rise in Baylor's women's BB? Really?? Try equating the rise of both to the decision by the president of the university to pump money into athletics. It's that simple. Anyone who can raise the money can "buy" a successful sports program.

But to believe that success in Baylor's women's BB led to success in Baylor football is pure fantasy.

Read the article from USA Today that is what this whole mess is about. I am not sure how Kim being the football coach got brought into it but somehow it did.
