Unless Smith brought home a BCSNC, and maybe even then, Arkansas is already looking for a new coach unless they are planning on bringing Petrino back (which isn't totally out of the realm of possibilities).

The News-Star published a story about how the two head coaches didn't shake hands, etc., after the nlulm win.
After seeing the video at the end I now know why. . . .
As nlulm head coach was leaving the sidelines to hoot and holler one of the La. State Troopers on security detail gave Berry a vigorous bear hug of congratulations.
No wonder Berry didn't shake hands, his own security detail forgot his job: Find the Ark. state trooper security detail so coaches can hook up. HOWEVER, they couldn't be found.
However, that bear hug was perhaps too much for me to observe.

Watched some highlights of all the hits on Wilson. ULM was playing dirty. They aimed for his head and nothing else. No player could keep playing when that happens.
In that case, they better hope the SEC doesn't give Benson a call.
My father is a NLU grad and he received this email today from the alumni association and he sent it to me because he thought it was quite amusing.
Alumni and Friends:
By now, the world knows about our ULM Warhawks! To help celebrate our first win ever over a Top 10 FBS opponent (not to mention becoming the first Sun Belt team to defeat a Top 10 FBS opponent), your ULM Alumni Association is offering a commemorative T-Shirt:
http://www.ulm.edu/shock/
· The shirt on the left is the Alumni Association Shirt. It is available on line now (just click on the shirt) and you can also purchase youth and toddler sizes, on line only. You can stop by the Alumni Center and purchase adult size shirts beginning Wednesday, September 12th.
· The shirt on the right is being sold at the ULM Book Store.
Our Warhawks will be @ Auburn this Saturday then it’s back to Monroe for our first home game – and it’s a biggie – vs. Baylor on ESPN, Friday night, September 21st – kick-off is set for 7 p.m. – it’s a “white out” meaning of course, wear white to the game. The ULM game will be the only game on ESPN that night providing us the opportunity to put our university on display in over 150 million homes! Wouldn’t a sellout look great on TV!
For tickets, contact the ULM Ticket Office at 318-342-3ULM
Thanks for your continuing support and….buy a shirt!

On one hand, yea, they got a big win, so they should celebrate. On the other hand, as Bear Bryant said, "Act like you've been there before." Bragging for four years about your win doesn't make your team any better. No one cares if "one time we beat a good team." They care that...oh wait the LSU game's on, gotta go!
For those saying "Aww let lil ole ulm enjoy it" No, and this is why:

We may have left them choking on our dust and wallowing in debt trying to keep up, but make no mistake they will forever strive to get where we are and beat us. Not because it betters their university but because that's who they are, they are Me Too University. Forever coveting the success we have but unable to get their, overextending themselves and getting bailed out by the state. NLULM should still be a JUCO and should go back to that any success they have delay's the inevitable and continues to suck state resources. Most important ULM wins 1. Anytime we beat La Tech
2. Arkansas (ranked 8th at game time)
3. Marshall (1-AA National Championship)
4. Alabama (SEC team)
5. Mississippi State (SEC team)
6. Kentucky (SEC team)
7. Richmond (ranked 20th at game time)
What's your list?
ULM should be commended and they deserve all of the attention that they have gotten thus far. If Tech wants upstage ULM, it has the perfect opportunity. We can go out and beat a future conference mate in Rice, A big 10 team in Illinois, an ACC team in Virginia, and an SEC team in Texas A&M. If we can beat all of those teams, trust me ULM will be remembered like a fart on the open plains. However, I won't trash ULM on a message board out of jealousy. I want my team to do the trash talking for me on the field starting Saturday!
Go undefeated is the only way to silence the Juco wannabes. I'm up for it, our frosh RBs are up for!! Is Dykes? Time is now!!! Orange Bowl or bust!!!!!!!!
