May I ask why? I am generously curious. Wouldn't more more money and a better atmosphere be better?

One - the atmosphere can't get much better - the additional SRO and Leftfield GA add as much or more atmosphere as would 200 to 500 in temporary bleachers as evidenced by last years conference tournament and regional

Two - there is no way to economically add temporary bleachers that meet fire marshal standards and give you the same amount revenue as the SRO/Leftfield GA tickets do

It would probably cost $15k to $20k to bring in temporary bleachers for an additional 200-300 fans - how many games would those actually be sold? priced? (be hard pressed to sale them more than $10 a seat) and you would still have the costs associated with vending and toilet facilities...

They are only available X hours before each game

Local folks without tickets have to work this avenue

NO ONE was turned away this weekend who attempted to buy a ticket at the gate even though the event was sold out -

That doesn't mean you can get a chair back, but it does mean you can get in the park

For those out of town - work your local friends, find out who has tickets and may not be able to use them and offer to take them off of their hands (don't expect them for free, even though they may give them to you for nothing)

Folks - this happens in every arena/park/stadium in the country to a ticket that's in demand, we have been spoiled way too long in that regards

It happened here a few years ago with Dunkin Dawg basketball when folks complained ad nauseum because they couldn't get a lower arena seat (when there were 3,000 plus good blue seats available)

Season tickets have it's benefits and Thank God my season tickets are finally worth something in a Tech sport even though they have increased 300% in price since 2019

I agree, shame we have had to fork out so much more, but glad we can and have the option of sharing when we are out of town.

I have a feeling this could be a high scoring game. We can't afford to get behind earlier. I know they played Maine ( not near as good as Wichita State) last weekend, but they did score 51 runs. They can hit. I know the boys will be ready though.

Wichita State got literally run over by Oklahoma 6-2 today. 11 stolen bases by the Sooners with three players getting 3 steals each.
