I believe they even pointed that out on the radio broadcast after one of Dancy’s runs up the middle.

Our AD and our President have killed our game day atmosphere and made it almost impossible to tailgate it the spots many of us had tailgated in for almost 40 years. They have also made it all but impossible for the students to tail gate in their designated area. I thing this is what Doc was alluding too.

Our AD is responsible for negotiating with Learfield. We know what a great negotiator he is.

You know the saying, “Winning makes everything better.” Or “Winning takes care of everything.”

We are proof that it doesn’t. Winning seasons and bowl wins have not covered a multitude of sins by our “leadership”. From top to bottom, everything is severely underperforming and we the fans seem to be the only ones noticing. I know I shouldn’t pile on a young kid who underperforms when his leader does nothing but praise him. J’Mar is simply 1 cog in a shattered wheel. Maybe stepping away for a while can help the negativity. I can stop contributing to it and stop reading it from others. Not saying the complaints are not justified or correct, but it has once again become borderline unhealthy. I hate being negative. Okay, I’m done.

I decided a few years ago, that I'm not going to let something that's supposed to be entertainment ruin my Saturdays...in truth, 10 years ago, it didn't just ruin my Saturdays, it ruined my week. Over that 10 year span, the plight of a G5 school has gotten tougher. The gap between the haves and the have nots has widened. If you had asked me back then whether or not I would take 4 or 5 years of consecutive bowl appearances, I would've taken it in a second.

I DO understand the frustration with J'Mar, but I think it's primarily frustration at Holtz and J'Mar is the guy that symbolizes Holtz's deficiencies. We all know that Holtz isn't getting fired as long as he's winning more games than he's losing. In retrospect, I think we'll see that Smith has been the best options since his Sophomore year. I poke bears around here because I do feel like the harsh criticism he's received has been over the top.

I can get on board with that. During the game, I certainly criticize JMar, but post-game clarity reveals that Holtz is the true problem.

JMar is not a great QB, but he can only be as good as he is. He's not responsible for putting himself on the field, as it were.

And of course, Holtz is simply only a symptom of the greater problem that infects Tech at all levels.

This is exactly how I felt and I chose to not dedicate my soul and my family time to Tech sports any more.
It is sad since I loved and was very passion about Tech sports. My wife just never understands how I could stay up late to listen to girl basketball game (when we played Hawaii in Hawaii).

Because Holtz is the master of hammering a square peg into a round hole. It won’t fit? I’ll make it fit!!

You guys are funny. Reaching for straws. LOL!

Now that Abraham is getting a little playing time under his belt, he's developing into a fine young QB. And remember, he's only a JUNIOR, and his offense is ranked #46 in the country for scoring, while J'Mar's offense is ranked #99.

Click on the ESPN link below. Then click on EACH individual QB's name to get their current rating. It shows:

    J'Mar's current QB Rating = 184.5%
    Abraham's current QB Rating = 204.1%

    https://www.espn.com/college-football/game?gameId=401015046

As a LA Tech fan, I'm just unhappy that --out of the 2 QB's-- Dog fans got stuck with the QB that can't score in a brothel.

The announcers were certainly praising our QB. I guess his stats are good, but he doesn't seem to have improved as the years go by.

On the other hand, I had a dime on Tech and never broke a sweat.

He's a Rock Star........between the 20's. But he turns into Liberace in the red zone.
