J'Mar will be the leader. The kid has heart and a strong will to win. He will be Tech's next Trent or Hunter.

I need a few more months to forget about this season's defense. Regardless, I will be going into next year with low expectations about the team D with the idea it will be more difficult to be greatly disappointed.
Individual pieces are great, but when the total product is a big stinky turd.........eh.
What happened to Marcus Gaines this year? Did he get injured? Looks like he didn't play after the first WKU game. And if so, what kind of injury causes a player to miss 11 weeks?
On paper, Marcus took a MAJOR step back this year statistically.

WR Gaines could miss rest of regular season

Junior Marcus Gaines broke his wrist earlier this month against UMass and is facing a multi-week absence, Tech coach Skip Holtz said after Wednesday's practice.
"It's the bone and the ligaments and how long it takes to heal," Holtz said. "Once the bone heals it's going to be how stiff the hand is. We'll have to see. Normally, it's four-to-six weeks."
The wussification of America continues. Don't get me started....
TOO LATE!
Why do these snowflakes have to lay on the field for some minor injury? Especially something to the hand or arm. Get your azz up and jog off the field! Sheeesh! Saw a game a couple of years ago when some 300 lb lineman had his thumb bent back. His thumb went all the way back and touched his wrist. Try it to see what I mean....I'll wait. Yeah, okay, that has to hurt. But, get your azz off the field! These games last long enough now with all the commercials, replays, blah, blah, blah....these wussies need 4 trainers to come out to wipe their tears. Guess what fellow, your thumb is dislocated or broken, so deal with it. But deal with it on the bench so the game can resume.
Told ya not to get me started....
I have seen a guy break his wrist in the final game of the season and miss spring training due to the wrist not healing properly.
