Hopefully "Dr Wood" can get us a H-H series with Arkansas.

He visited with Lady Techster Softball this morning and watched most of their scrimmage. Appeared to have instant rapport with the girls.
He needs to fire our football coaching staff this Sunday - simply pitiful at UTSA.
Poor dude has been saddled with tmac's errors. If he can figure out some way to get rid of holtz and konkol, he'll be a hero in my book.
Dr Wood's first challenge will be to get a "covid sell out" for the UAB game.
That and trying to get the season ticket holders to come back next season. I’ve had 8 tickets for 35+ years, but because of the ridiculous costs of parking passes, petty seat inflation costs, an unentertaining game day product (included a completely wasted BIG screen) and never over achieving in a season, I’m not planning on coming back. I’ve already pulled the plug on men’s & women’s basketball because of their repeated failures. Football is next. After that I’ll see about baseball. It’s saddening to me every time I walk away, but being in attendance to reoccurring failure is intolerable.

Very common for new ADs to bring in their own coaches. I guess we will see. I dont expect COVID season to count against a coaches success
While on that, I felt our special teams were pretty decent this past weekend, all things considered. Maybe one return got a little too far. Kicks were all made. Kickoffs were all pretty good. Punting wasn’t the worst it has been.
He’s not great. Should just be the kicker. We don’t have the offense for that kind of punting. If we were gaining 20 yards every time we started on the 25 it wouldn’t be so bad.... but we aren’t. We have punted from our own 20 or less far too often this year.
But punting also wasn’t the problem Saturday.
