They wont even give the band shirts at the student entrance. Those that got them made sure to cover their band apparel. Yet the other spirit groups get them. If we are gonna white out, why not white out the band?
Did it matter? There were 2000 people there and 75% of them weren't in white. Massive marketing failure but I'm sure we learned nothing.
Well yes. For color games its good to have the official groups participate.
Its also not very fair for them to approach the table only to be turned away due to being in the band. Then see the cheer squad and Regal Blues all trot out in the very same shirts.
Band student are Tech students. They should get a shirt if they want one. Shame on TMac and co if they denied them one
These last few games have had decent* attendance and I think the game and atmosphere can bring folks back. But we need the promotions/ticket reductions more often. Its no coincidence that people came and both nights had a promotion of some sort.
I miss not having DQ races or Church's Chicken Dance this year.
This is what happens when you only market to the first (insert number) with free tee shirts and pizza.
It's wrong. Our marketing is wrong and has been wrong for years.
Focus on the students! They are OUR future not lsu's future. Our leaders continue to do a horrible job of molding Tech fans.
Also, is there a danger in going ahead and announcing future ticket specials for the remainder of the season? Some people make weekend plans prior to the preceding Wednesday.
