watching online?
got ya... someone else was telling me you can find it elsewhere
Tech gets 2 more in the 4th...could be an early night...11-1 Tech heading to the bottom of the 5th.
Ewing 3-run shot makes it 14-1 Tech heading to the 6th....nice inning-by-inning....4-3-2-2-3.
Another blank for San Jose in the 6th....will take a big inning by the Spartans to avoid a run-rule job.

Being that this is not part of a double header, I'm not sure if a run-rule was agreed upon. According to the rules "
By conference rule, or mutual consent of both coaches before theif one team is ahead by at least 10 runs."
beginning of the contest, a game may be stopped after seven innings
All WAC series games go 10-run rule after 7 whether single or part of a doubleheader. A concession for playing 4-game WAC series.
FINAL (6 1/2 innings)--Tech 14 San Jose State 1.
got ya thanks for the info. Clint Stubb's brother, Drew, just hit a grand slam against my CUBS... I have him on fantasy so it isn't all bad
San Jose pitching was bad tonight. The Dawgs looked good. It was a great way to bounce back after that loss to LSUS
Good win. That's why you don't pitch conference guys during midweek games.
To sum up game one.... Tech was an 800 pound gorilla all over a one pound banana. Our first three at bats of the game were all singles followed by a grand slam. The game was never close with Tech in complete control dishing out four homeruns. It was also a nice Friday night crowd watching. I'm sure SJSU will be very focused in the doubleheader today.
I think DogsWin was in a really good location for crowd watching. The Panhellenic Council (sororities) made attendance at the game mandatory and there were a lot of college girls at the game.
As far as the game, the DAWGS came out with aggressive base running and hitting the first pitch. Also we hit the ball to an open spot using good swings instead of swinging for the fence on each pitch. It was a well played baseball game on both offense and defense. Jamey Bradshaw picked up a complete game (7 inning) win.
This was our 3rd straight 10 run rule home win.
