You are absolutely, CORRECT! This has been the damnedest thing I've ever seen. Errr......or never seen.
Can't do anything about what happened. I HATE all of it and hate that UNT couldn't beat UAB too. We move forward now and need to win this last game. I don't care about any of the past, because I can't change it. Just win this one and win a bowl game (preferably against a P5)..... Stop all the "we don't deserve it" sh*t". We deserve to go to a bowl and need to win that too. We didn't deserve the West Championship and didn't get it.
In the end Holtz will congratulate and praise UAB for doing what it took to win the West. He’ll say his team ‘competed’ and that he’s proud of them. He won’t say there were two critical games we lost because ‘we didn’t compete’, that our 5th year QB blew the season up in smoke rings or that he wasn’t a good enough coach to overcome his ‘Rock Star’ being benched.
Seeing McClelland on TV at halftime being proud of our season and not even acknowledge our 2 game }€*%~~{} makes me sick.
This.. no need to continue to play our Rockstar and him possibly get injured before our bowl game...

What in the world would you expect them to say? They are saying what I would hope we would say in the situation we are in. No need to talk bad about anyone or anything now. If Holtz wants to keep this team together for a bowl game, he better be pumping up his team. Same for our AD (even though I am not a fan).... We are where we are. I swear I think some of you would just walk off and quit when things don't go your way. Do what we need to do now to salvage what is left...
I'm just sick at my stomach about the missed opportunity for Tech and its fans. Some of you guys are young, and don't realize that these opportunities don't come along very often for LA Tech fans.
Hey Tommy, the weather isn't the reason for the hundreds of fans for the final home game.
In the 10 or so years I've been a fan, we've blown these types of opportunities on an extremely regular basis in every sport.

I know exactly why, too. I just hope the program will survive it. I know one of the key people behind it. You may or may not be shocked by it because he's not quiet about his views, but he's not in the forefront of anything Tech either. He's not a Tech man by any means. He's just here to collect a check and stir up trouble.
At Louisiana Tech we are afraid of being transparent.
No, some of us adult enough, experienced enough, planning enough to manage things to where we don’t repeatedly (as in every year) screw things up. Blowing off failure and excusing it is exactly why we do it over and over and over.
