Been off and on about the damn 49ers--off when they play Saints- on when they have Tech guys ( Tim-QP and now Trent)-who was the db from tech? can live with Denver and of course now follow Ravens . So far things have not fallen into place for QP--hope it will turn around for him and Myles White came SO close to making an NFL career. all those I follow but Paul Turner is one that can go either way ...

    Adairius Barnes

    http://www.detroitnews.com/story/spo...nge/103780180/
The darkhorse is Adairius Barnes, who surprised many by making the roster as an undrafted rookie last season. Praised by coaches and teammates for his quick first step, he’ll need to make a few more plays this camp and preseason if he wants to stand out in the crowded competition.
    Carlos Henderson

    https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/fo...-pads-come-on/
Henderson, who has struggled early in training camp, has looked better in pads, Cecil Lammey of Sportsradio 104.3 The Fan reports.

It should be no surprise that Henderson, described by many as a receiver with running back traits, is dealing with some growing pains early in his career. In college, he was asked by Louisiana Tech coaches to run a select few routes and physically dominate opponents with his speed and tackle-breaking ability. That likely won't fly as well in the pros, but the more contact Denver adds to practice the more opportunities Henderson will have to remind the team's front office why they selected him in the third round. In the short term, Henderson is likely to stay behind Bennie Fowler and fellow rookie Isaiah McKenzie on the depth chart, contributing primarily as a kick returner and in packages that allow him to mimic what he did in college.
    Houston Bates

    https://www.hogshaven.com/2017/7/27/...-training-camp
The Redskins placed OLB Houston Bates on the PUP list yesterday, and waived him with a failed physical designation today. Bates has been with the Redskins since he was signed as an UDFA after the 2015 NFL draft. He has been used mainly on special teams, but has seen some time on the field with the defense as a backup in the 24 games he appeared in for Washington. Bates tore his ACL last December. Jay Gruden said today that he need time to get himself right, and he could be back with the team
    IK

    http://umslspaces.com/justin-ellis-r...-ik-enemkpali/
“We have the same agent, and my agent told me that [the Raiders] were going to work him out, and I know what type of player he is,” said Ellis who played with Enemkpali at Louisiana Tech. “I know his knee is healthy; they worked him out, and I knew they would like him.”
    Jeff Driskel

    https://www.cincyjungle.com/2017/7/3...position-group
The quarterback group is the unit with the least amount of drama. Andy Dalton, AJ McCarron and Jeff Driskel are set in their positions on the depth chart.
    Jordan Mills

    http://www.buffalobills.com/news/art...1-e12f483b3d90
The drafting of Dawkins seemed to signify to many that the Bills were looking to replace Mills at right tackle. However, the veteran has put in the effort, and shown that Dawkins will have to take the starting spot from him in training camp.
    Kentrell Brice

    http://www.packers.com/news-and-even...b-045b190aefc1
Many NFL defensive backs can hit, but what impresses me about Brice is he does it consistently in an appropriate manner. There’s no malicious intentions in his playstyle. It’s all business – tough business.
    http://www.wisconsinrapidstribune.co...lor/529737001/
Safety Kentrell Brice was lucky he didn’t break his hand when he took a swing at guard Justin McCray during a scrum. If his fist had connected with McCray’s helmet he might have paid a big price.
    http://cheeseheadtv.com/blog/brice-c...om-coaches-318
He's reportedly taken a huge step in terms of his traditional safety ability over the off-season according to several of his teammates as well as members of the coaching staff. One of them being head coach Mike McCarthy, who had some high praise for the undrafted safety earlier this week.
    Luke McCown

    https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2017...p-kellen-moore
“McCown appears to compete at a high level. He gave his teammates a chance to win his only start of 2015 season against Carolina. He was outstanding in that game. Moved the team well. This is not a dink-and-dunk quarterback. He is willing to take shots down the field.”
    Paul Turner

    http://www.phillyvoice.com/eagles-20...e-notes-day-7/
On a good ball from Matt McGloin on a corner route, Paul Turner was simply too slow to track it down. I think Turner is a long shot to make the roster this year after cracking the roster in 2016. He's simply too small and slow to compete with a much better group of receivers than a year ago.
    http://www.mcall.com/sports/football...721-story.html
Will wide receiver Paul Turner be out of a job after being the darling of training camp a year ago?
    Ryan Allen

    http://www.isportsweb.com/2017/07/16...r-spotlight-3/
This Oregon native may not be the best punter in the NFL, but he can hold his own with the best of them, which shows by the lack of legitimate competition brought in by the Patriots. Allen is here to stay, and, at just 27 years old, it would not be surprising to see Allen as part of the team for years to come.
    Trent Taylor

    http://www.ccenterdispatch.com/sport...263feea7a.html
The San Francisco 49ers selected Trent Taylor in the fifth round of the NFL Draft, but with the way he's playing in training camp, the LA Tech [sic] alum may be worth much more than that.
    http://www.49ers.com/news/article-2/...8-c62594476a7a
Taylor appears to be ahead of the curve and may force his way into the lineup sooner rather than later. If the shifty receiver continues to perform anything like his training camp debut, Faithful can expect a big impact from the compact rookie in 2017.
    Vernon Butler

    http://www.charlotteobserver.com/spo...164239372.html
Butler’s not worried about any of that. But it was clear during a brief interview Friday, he wants to prove to the team and the Panthers’ fan base that he was worthy of that first-round pick.
    Vontarrius Dora

    http://www.thedenverchannel.com/spor...ne-rays-injury
The absence of Ray and Barrett also expands Vontarrius Dora's role. He impressed last training camp, working from a raw college player used to having his hand in the dirt to a promising pass rusher. He spent 13 weeks on the Broncos' practice squad, and appeared in one game as a rookie.

    Darrell Brown

    http://seahawkswire.usatoday.com/201...ffensive-line/
Brown, a rookie tackle out of Louisiana Tech, brings much-needed depth to the offensive line that has been hindered by injuries throughout the first week of camp.

Kinda surprised about the comments regarding Carlos Henderson. As a 3rd round pick, he shouldn't be relegated to sitting on the pine behind Isaiah McKenzie, a 5-8, 164 lb fly weight, who was taken in the 5th round behind Henderson. McKenzie has already been named "punt returner" for the Bronco's for 2017.

I skipped over some of the early practice reports, where Henderson initially shined but started to fall behind, Im not sure why. I think he's starting to pick back up though. The NFL is a big transition.

Not me, Taylor is the better receiver and has the potential to have a much longer pro career than Henderson...

Carlos fumbled his first punt. He recovered but that's not exactly a stunning debut. I hope Trent does better tomorrow.

Dora, on the other side of the ball for the Broncos, is having a pretty nice game. Not blowing up the charts but he's performing fairly well regardless.

Henderson is now 2 fumbles for 2 catches.

He's listed as the #2 returner. Not exactly where a 3rd round pick wants to be his rookie season.
