Have to admit, a little disappointed with the 0-2 start in conference play!
I watched the Florida-Vandy and the Bama-A&M games prior to the Tech-Herd event. Some folks at Florida and Bama must think it's kinda "relevant", as Florida was 100% sold out (attendance 10,274) and Alabama announced 92% (attendance 14,218).
Go watch a game in the PMAC with their new largest-in-the-world center mounted curved-screen video board, and you might get the idea there are lots of folks in LA who think basketball is relevant.
A new article has been posted on www.latechsports.com:
It was a frustrating Saturday night for Louisiana Tech as they committed a season-high 20 turnovers which played a big part in falling, 78-65, to Marshall in the Cam Henderson Center.

I’ll say what I refrained from saying after we got embarrassed again by ULL on our home court. The U-La-La game was the last Tech basketball home game I will attend this season. These guys play like they want to play in an empty TAC with no fans, which is what we will have for the rest of the season.
Our team has no heart and no pride. We get out-hustled every game. They take on the laid back personality of our coach. They play with no intensity until they realize they are in a game with less than 5 min to play. Our guys play LAZY, and it’s an embarrassment to the name on the front of their jerseys. Our MBB program is in a downward spiral, and it won’t stop until some leadership emerges.
