Good win. Beating UAB is always a good win.

Duruji was Player of the Game, but major credit to Jean for his solid effort.
Jean (3-5 from the field, 2-2 from the FT line, 10 points, 4 boards, drew 4 charges, 3 assists, 2 steals, only 1 foul, 0 turnovers)
A new article has been posted on www.latechsports.com:
With the score tied midway through the second half, Louisiana Tech was able to close the deal on Thursday night on national television as the Bulldogs took down the UAB Blazers, 73-60, inside the Thomas Assembly Center on Karl Malone Court.

I began watching in 2nd half. I've never claimed to be a basketball guy and last night is why...
After I began watching, the lead shrank, then we committed a lazy turnover, UAB returned the ball for an easy layup to tie the game at 47, and only ONE of our guys ran the court. I can't watch that crap!
3500+ announced. Closer to 500 than 1000. Nobody in the Blue seats and only a hand full in the red. He has no shame.
It was ok crowd. It didnt benefit from its time or the game before it. Nobody is as tempted to take a young family or church or school group to an 8 pm game instead of an earlier game. A few groups came to the 4:30.
A bunch of people left at half time, it appeared they were youth groups.
Still, overall in the last few years we are trending downward.
Bottom red is about or at 2000 seats, not including extra red seats on the court.
I would say there were 1000 actually there. I felt our attendance has been inflated for a while, even the Mike White numbers. Its just not passable now to call a crowd of 2000 a crowd of 4000, instead of a crowd of 3500 a crowd of 4500.
Are the saturday games also discounted prices?
Why not just keep up with his screw ups instead of over stating the numbers? Attendance in football and MBB is going down on his watch in a large way.
For MBB the numbers didn't begin going down until the '15'-'16 season when he stared running fans out of the red seats and insisted on charging $15 for the blue seats.
He is getting paid big money to screw this up.
