Have I missed the announcement?
See where they're gonna try to superspread something at Ewing Colisieum later in August.

Copy cats.
Grand Finale?!! Ahhhh the power of positive thinking.
It will be a good year to "reinvent" the Happening after a two year layoff.
So. . . no Happening? If so, that sucks. These chitchats at Walk-ons don't cut it for me.

My most sincere apologies.
I had gone to www.latchalumni.org for any info and on the cover page there are 5 items NOT RELATED to any type of back-to-school dinner/get together/Happening.
I was sent an email that was sent out a couple of weeks ago: There WILL be something in on campus in Lincoln Parish: Forever Loyal Reunion on Aug. 17. (What overachiever came up with a new name to a brand that had established well-anchored legs?) We can have The Happening. It's nice to be in the Monroe market, but this year there's lots of new stuff to see.
Since most of y'all knew and have ignored my post or didn't care or did or didn't get the email, here's the scoop:

Nothing from our Football HC. His bosses don't ask much from him.
They did. I attended the Bulldog Blitz meeting in Dallas, on July 20th. Attendance wasn't great in Dallas --about 50 fans there-- but they held the event near downtown Dallas, which was probably not the best option. IMO it was a mistake not to move this meeting to the suburbs, where the money and family support is. But I know everyone's got their own opinion about that. Regardless, it was good to see all the coaches.
My most sincere apologies.
