Another really tough one during this stretch. They are tied with WKU and UAB in the standings - each with only one loss. We need to win, at least, one of these! We will still have to play UAB again at their place, as well. Odds of getting a top 4 seed are dwindling....
GAME DAY!! Go Techsters.
Home season ending way too soon, only two more at home after today.
Techster is leading 52-42 going into the 4th quarter.
Techsters are playing very disrupted defense tonight - Rice got 5 shot clock violations so far.
60-48 4:50 to go
Techsters won by a lot

I just have to say WOW! I watched on CUSA tv and was VERY impressed. THAT was the team we have been waiting to see play this year. Complete game!!!!
Now, just beat UTEP this Saturday and we get in the mix for a 4 seed in the tournament! We just have to play like we did last night and we can beat anyone in CUSA!

We've played 11 conference games, the most of any team. FAU has played just 8 conference games. This is screwy. Who's responsible for such a stupid schedule? Fire them yesterday.
Hell, we had four straight road conference games! I bet no other team, women's or men's, in all of college basketball, had to play four straight conference games on the road.
Then, the last three weeks of the regular season, we play one game per week, beginning with a home date with USM. Now, I suppose that can be an advantage, especially if a team is nursing injuries, or a team is tired. But there is also a risk of losing your competitive edge. You can practice hard, and have good practices, but nothing measures up to real game competition for keeping a team sharp.
Don't know about the national scene, but the Techsters are the only team in CUS-A that had to play 4 conference road games in a row. The remainder of the teams played a max of 3 conference road games in a row except UTEP and Middle Tenn who played a max of 2 conf. road games in a row. UAB is the only team that got to play 4 conf games in a row at home. Techsters only had 2 conf home games in a row along with Middle TN who had two in a row at home three times. The remainder enjoyed 3 home in a row and FIU and Charlotte got 3 home in a row twice. With all that said the idiot that did the scheduling did manage to see that every team had 8 home and 8 away. You couldn't have gone to the phone book and picked someone at random to do the scheduling and gotten any worse results. How do ADs let this happen. What happened to the boys away Thur and Sat and girls play same teams at home then reverse it the following week? Can't blame it on tv for there have been very few games on tv from Ruston.
