You decide....
I will say this, as I posted elsewhere, about "free will" comes with a price tag, we are all ultimately responsible for our situations. Sometimes we innocently make decisions, or choose paths, that seem like a great idea at the time. I have made some career choices, for instance, that with the benefit of hindsight, I should have "zigged" when I "zagged." Oh well, water under the bridge now. I sure ain't blaming others or asking others to fill a gap for me now.
We (my wife and I) have carefully orchestrated our personal (household) finances since before we were married, actually, following sound business principles. We run our household like a small business. We pay a fairly hefty monthly premium for our health insurance. But we have excellent health insurance. This choice comes with a price tag, namely, it makes it difficult to also carry hefty car notes. So, we have opted to keep our vehicles as long as possible, saving money, and then pay cash for a good pre-owned vehicle. You see....choices....trade-offs....planning.
Enough about us, I think you see the point.
