Also realize that whomever you hire is likely to bring some freshman recruits plus some transfer portal players with them, who knows what our team will look like.

Patterson is an old chode who just got fired. Just say no.
Gary Patterson is an elite defensive innovator and did amazing things at TCU. But I don't think he's interested in coaching in this modern era. NIL, COA, transfer portal, this generation of players - I just don't think that's his jam.
Patterson is too old. We need some youth and energy
Whoever it is, brighter days are ahead. Tech can get the right athletes, they just need to be coached up. Guice and Wood have to go all in with their first hand to play. This change can’t be played out in some sort of stupid second guessing caution. We need to win CUSA first thing. In what will be a lesser conference it has to be done.
Besides the coach, Tech has to almost totally revamp the game day experience. That has to be done and done right. Everyone already knows all the pieces that have to be changed. It’s been talked about around and around.
The one thing that hasn’t been said enough, but has to happen is that Tech needs a huge home game attendance improvement. So, to do that Tech has to reduce the cost of admission. Put people in the seats cheaply. A seat with a butt in it for $5.00 is better than an empty seat with no cheering coming out of it. You don’t have to be a math genius to figure out that an empty seat is worth zero.
The last thing I’d like to see not that it’s some miracle cure for our woes is to shelve the white helmets for special occasions and special occasions are never on the road. When tech travels we go ‘Red’ hats with the white state Ts.
2022’s excitement is ready to be tapped into, Tech just needs to capitalize on it. Do something all along in the off season to keep things building. Please Tech don’t drag your feet until mid summer and then make some big announcement hoping it’ll be enough. Keep feeding us some regular doses of incentives.
More than anything, we need to develop and identity and then recruit and hire to fit that identity going forward. Get coaches who actually want to run the offense we are built to run.
For those who haven’t commented appreciatively of Rattay, maybe you’re a bit out of touch and an up to date review of his resume would be informative for you.
As of right now OK ST is 10-1 and is ahead of OK 14-7.

I don’t even care…neither do our leaders who get paid too damn much for that.
OK. St. is having a good year, but I think they're doing it with defense. Their offense isn't what it's usually been under Gundy this year.
We need someone who is hungry to make a name for themselves. Needs to be an offensive minded coach, because the one thing we can get in spades is really good, talented skill position players. I don’t want to suffer through another boring Dooleyball era of three yards and a cloud of dust Tech football.
If we can afford him, Jeff Lebby is who we need to go after.
