Receiver Depth Issues?

Hunter is Superman--he does not get tired!! i am not being silly--good things happen when hunter gets the ball, been that way since he started years ago. I am 100% with you about too many small receivers playing, no problem with 1 or 2 but....

RS Freshman, Michael Mims is a Hunter Lee type athlete who could easily make the transition from 3rd string safety to receiver.

Conner Smith is a big, smart, athletic receiver that has been playing the position for years. He could have helped mitigate some of the cluster Saturday. Gaines and Watts have to play, but you also have to complete the play correctly first and foremost.

On JFord's show tonight he mentioned that we missed Paul Turner. I agree. He made big plays against ULL, North Texas and Auburn. He has a knack for catching the ball in traffic and is elusive with the ball in his hands. Besides Hunter, he's one of our few wr's that breaks tackles. Trent can get open and catches the ball. Hunter is durable and dependable. Griffin can stretch the field and is good on the sideline/timing routes. Henderson is dangerous. And so on... But Turner is a receiver that moves like a running back with the ball in his hands.

According to BTB last night, the nagging injury (I heard hamstring type injury) has healed, but he is now dealing with something else.

Haha, I'll defer to a someone who works below the head and neck. But in my limited knowledge, groin = continuously aggravated. How many games has he missed?
