He is dead to me now....
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Not to me! I root for all Tech guys to do well....as long as it doesn't affect the Saints. For instance, if the Saints play the Eagles next year, and Boston go nuts, 150 yards, scores 3 TDs....but the Saints still win the game...perfect!
Yeah, I am disappointed Boston is no longer a Saint. I don't like it. But this is the NFL....a business...and besides usually when Sean Payton lets a good player go like this, their careers explode. So, good times ahead for Boston Scott.
The Philadelphia Eagles signed Boston Scott, the guy that Holtz put Craft ahead of him in his collegiate career.
Boston had 71 more touches than Craft in 2017. In 2016, craft averaged 5.6 per carry while also catching 42 passes for 340 yds. Don’t act like craft didn’t deserve plenty of PT.
Craft was injured much of his senior year which is the ONLY reason Holtz gave Scott as much PT as he got. Anybody who knows the game of football could see that Scott was an overall better back. He did not tiptoe to the hole like Craft did. Anytime Holtz was asked about Scott's success as the #2 he was quick to say, "Craft is still our starter!"
Craft was not a walk on like Scott. Holtz has a hang up with playing walk on guys who are there primarily to bring up the team GPA.
