A few more winters and time and mother nature will take care of what little base still remains....
I would rather see the money spread out amongst the other women's sports since it cannot be spent on mbb, football or baseball -
But that is my personal choice - ya'll want more more for wbb - give it to LTAC and buy the tickets, but don't starve the potential cash cow of mbb and football to pay a wbb coach
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
If we ever want to be in CUSA and ever really want to succeed in the realm of college athletics like we all know and believe we should mbb is the route we have to take.
The ROI for that sport, for a university our size is by far the biggest, It has paid the bills at places like Nevada for years. Imagine what it could do to our budget if football even just stayed about like it is now.
The money would be there for lots of other things, coaches contracts included. I want success in revenue generating sports because that is the only way to truly did ourselves out of the 20 year hole we placed ourselves in. Our faithful giving alumni base is too small, it will bring in new donors, and it is the only way to make some people who are at best luke warm about athletics (DR) do something. Money talks!!
I have no doubt, you were economic stimulus for that place.
