What's up with the progress that Higgins made? He was by far a worse QB than J'Mar is. Did Skip have nothing to do with his development? Does J'Mar have no hope of making similar progress? I've seen some very good signs that J'Mar can be a great QB. I've also seen some displays of awful QB play. His main problem has been inconsistency, and he seems to lack confidence if he doesn't get going early. That said, QBs all across the country improve as fourth-year juniors and fifth-year seniors. Our QB last year was one of them.

Hey...at least my comments about ULL and the city of Lafayette sucking were TRUE! And the team backed up my bravado.
Now we've got amateurs like CHC trying to play copy cat....but, against a much tougher opponent.
Most amateurs forget the golden rule: Only pick a fight that you KNOW you can win.
I didn't comment on Higgins because I really believe Higgins was better for NOT having played with Holtz in his ear for two years. Not because Holtz coached him up for two years. Watch what happens to J'Mar in game situations on the sidelines. Holtz coaching him at the same time Rattay coaches him can't be a good thing.
most of us already knew ULL sucked--I posted the records before the "Dixon game" and very few people expected us to lose on BBB -- started hearing about your posts on their site and wondered "why post"-- whats the point -- I could care less about ULL except the recruiting.... hopefully we pick up a few 3 star dropouts ....
as usual you remind me why I check out BBB-- we have some great posters and those who think we suck and Holtz has won because he was lucky. I also think our wide receivers did not perform well ( except Veal)- dropped ball- bad routes. Baseball has to go and more time developing confidence-- our great wr/qb performance over the years going back to Spinks/TB was a lot to do with timing -confidence .. If need it for the Bowl game-- this has the look of a Sonny Dykes game--lots of offense . Offense has to step up--
That may be true, but we haven't had normal for the past 4 years. Yes, Henderson dropped a bunch, but Taylor more than made up for what Henderson dropped. He was a safety blanket for whoever was throwing the ball. We didn't have that this year. Paired with a RS Soph and you get what we got. We'll see what happens next year.
