They didn't say whether we were in the West or East.
I thought the media's effort was pathetic. Just yesterday we had Jimmy Watson writing that silly article complaining about not getting any info out of LA Tech. Fast forward to today, and the media only asked about 3 "softball" questions.
I was really hoping --and expecting-- the north Louisiana media to dive into this whole CUSA thing. But nooooo. Those lazy bastards acted like they were afraid to ask questions (except for Buddy Davis, who did great.). As a whole, I've heard better questions from 2nd graders. Very shallow.

Poor UNT. Just got into the conference too and already forgotten.
Our history is much better than the other 4 schools, but man we have a small enrollment by comparison.
TECH 12,000 (1894)
UNCC 25,000 (1946)
USTA 31,000 (1969)
NTSU 36,000 (1890)
FIU 48,000 (1972)
It is not even close on athletic history, and alums, as would be expected when you have 4 Hall of Famers. North Texas can hang with us on musical talent though with Don Henley and Roy Orbison which is somewhat muted when you throw in their literary talent... the author of Brokeback Mountain. Can't believe that all these years the Sunbelt had match-ups between the Brokeback Mountaineers and the Richard Simmons gang and we didn't even know it .
The map has moved Knoxville to Nashville.
