All of our uniforms look great!
But I would prefer an offsetting blue against maroon. Same as with homecoming, should have been blue.
Or maybe the better word would have been 'contrasting'
This is our FBS-leading 6th road game of the season and it is at another Top 20 opponent. Keep winning road Dawgs; 6-2 and counting!
Bear gave us the nod this morning on SportsCenter so, done deal, right?
He did pick us to cover. He's got the bear sticker on Tech on his board.
I don't bet on 18-22 yr olds. I do bet on 3-6 yr olds….thoroughbreds!
But, if one would bet and take the points, it looks like this right now on the scoreboard:
Tech 23.5 Moo State 0
1st Qtr 15:00
Tempting...
For those who are not aware-
Jeffrey KeimLouisiana Tech HC Skip Holtz is 32-14 ATS as a road underdog, including 16-3 ATS off a game in which the Bulldogs were getting points.
TODAY the LA Tech Bulldogs can change EVERYTHING!!
- Want real respect? Beat Miss St tonight, and you'll get it. LA Tech is long overdue a win over a P5 school.
- Want to change history? Win tonight, and you still have a chance to be the first Louisiana Tech football team to finish a regular season with 10 wins since our 1974 team finished 10-0. That's a 44-year drought. (The 1974 Tech team went to the Div II Playoffs, and eventually lost to Central Michigan in the Pioneer Bowl, finishing 11-1 overall.)
No doubt, this is Tech's toughest remaining game in 2018. Win tonight, and the Bulldogs likely finish 10-2 in the regular season. Since that 1974 season, LA Tech has finished with 9 regular season wins only 4 times: in 1982, 1984, 1997 & 2012.
THIS !! This is the perfect and accurate answer as to why Tech fans pull against LSU. I have zero problem with the school, alumni, or athletic teams.
My problem is Tech alumnus who support LSU and say that they would support their School if we had a good football team. How do they expect Tech to improve when they contribute all their money to LSU and zero to Tech??? This is so NLU. If they love the Tiggers so much, why didn’t they go there for their education?
When you put it like that, it is a tempting bet.
As far as the game goes, MSU is at ~180 yards/game in the air for Fitz with 7 INTs (?). If we can somehow manage to get ahead in the first half and capitalize on mistakes, we would be in a good spot. I like our chances if we get them in a position they feel they need to throw, much like last weekend. Fitz is more dangerous on the ground than in the air.
