The wife and I sit in Section O, Row 6, on the end of the row towards the Section N side. Every game. Have for 4 seasons now.
My tickets have always been in the Wac family pack, BB but we have always sat in G other than Miss ST, USM, and Navy...........When visiting teams buy tickets, we have to sit in BB. It is a good thing when we have to sit in BB....
My Season Tics are for 00, but I have always sat in sec. P by the band.
Season tickets are in OO, but we sit on the top row of N.
Top rows of EE
Sits? Who sits at Tech games? I sit where the wife tells me to sit. Out of the sun in the hot periods, and with the students otherwise.
I don't sit, I stand in Section OO. It really pisses off a guy and his wife and his family who apparently attend games to socialize and talk about all things other than the game. Isn't that the M.O. of the westside? :icon_wink:
I have season tickets in OO, but usually I sit in the friend-sends-me-text-message-updates section or in front of the giant TV at Winghouse, =o).
I do not think that is the MO of the westside at all. Could be that the couple who sits behind you has a physical ailment that prevents one or both from standing the entire game ( arthritis, bad back, bad knees ). Could be this couple has been supporting our school for a long, long time, and in many ways with their attendance & with their money. Or, it could be that it indeed IS the place where they meet friends & engage in "social conversation." In any case, with your knowing that it irritates the couple sitting behind you that you stand up the entire game ( to make some kind of super fan statement ), it is just plain RUDE & INCONSIDERATE for you to continue to do that. As a whole, Tech fans & supporters are NOT rude & inconsiderate folks!
A perspective some fans haven't considered, I would say. Sometimes its hard to believe there is an alternative reality.
Common courtesy is never misplaced.
Go Dawgs!
Wow - looks like i've been spanked by the most respected poster on BBB. Guess i'll go crawl back in my hole.
Although Brasky is talking about OO..which is the YOUNG alumni section. At the Nevada game I got asked to sit down in two separate areas of the student section...because people who "were walking around all day and too tired to stand"..this annoyed me to no end but I just moved rows each time. The student section stands does a great job of standing the entire game and it seems that people who have a problem with this should be able to find a new seat.
