Show at the Joe - Spring Fling!

Get ready Louisiana Tech because your most anticipated event of the year is back! Union Board is bringing Spring Fling this year with a bang like you have never seen it before! It will be an all afternoon event down at the Joe that will keep you laughing, dancing, and entertained late into the night.


Union Board will offer:
- 4,000 pounds of crawfish, first come first serve! GET THERE EARLY!
- an ejection seat to shoot you into the… sky
- 24 foot rock wall
- bumper cars
- wax hand molds
- AND MUCH, MUCH MORE!


But wait, that's not the best part! At 9:30pm Benjy Davis Project will take the stage in the stadium with Dawgzilla behind them and keep you rocking into the night!


Prices for the event are as follows:
- $25 ($20 with Tech ID)- An all day pass that gets you one plate of crawfish ($5 per extra plate if you would like more) unlimited access to other foods, venues, and concert
- $20 ($15 with Tech ID)- concert ticket only
- $10- access to Spring Fling event/ crawfish plate without entry into the concert
- $5- Spring Fling tee shirts will be available while supplies last


This will be an event you won’t want to miss. Buy your tickets from Union Board starting Monday out in the plaza or from our office in Tolliver, room 214, or the day of the event at the Joe Aillet West Side Ticket Booth.

Nope, just passing along what I was told from someone who attended the event. Had so much crawfish left over they were giving it away. Horrible job of planning by our UB.

They need to go back to spring fling like they had in the 70's. I think it was at the old fairground. Now that was a fling, from what I can remember.:icon_wink: They had halter tops with girls in them, beer ,food, beer, games, beer, mud wrastling, and more beer.

Yeah they couldn't of picked a worse day. Cody Canada and the Departed (essentially Cross Canadian Ragweed) were at Rabb's, it was the traditional margarita and tequila drinking day, so El Jar was packed and a baseball game was going on. Bad timing Union Board. I think most people that did go went and rode the rides and ate and decided to pass on Benjy Davis Project.
