The big difference is that tariffs made it cheaper to bring jobs here, where taxes make it cheaper to move elsewhere. If the price remains constant between those two policies, we LOSE.
Heard on FNC tonight from the border patrol that they are expecting 2 million illegals will cross the border by sept. At $3000/person that's $6 billion for the drug cartels escorting them across the border. I bet the Biden family gets some of that money. That's much better than the deal they did with Ukraine and China. Since Texas has put 2000 officers on the border, they have arrested more that 600 criminals, many of them already wanted for crimes like assault, rape, and murder.
