The talking heads didn't have a T.O. topic so all they had to discuss this week was Rogers' cheating. Yes it is against the rules. So is not tagging up after foul balls and not actually touching second on double plays. Pitchers have ALWAYS tried to get the advantage (cheated). If this had not been the hated by the media Rogers, it probably would have never been picked up and reported.
The Neikro brothers made a living out of cheating - because they were LOVABLE -
Rogers and Bonds are bascially despised by ALL media and most fans - that is the main difference as you pointed out -
The art of pitching has alot to do with the art of MANIPULATING the ball, its seams and its surface -
When you are 10 - 12 you learn if you can knick a ball a certain way on you catchers shin guard - you can get movement out of the ball -
Pitchers "rub" the ball to massage the seams to raise them and get more movement -
