Wow. Just wow. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-for-missouri/
Not fired. His contract ran out. He would have been resigned by the Cowboys if he hadn't found another job.
All of the Cowboy assistants are looking because Jason Garrett will probably be gone after next year.
It's better to have a 3-5 year contract somewhere than just one and done with next year Cowboys. DFW radio is talking all about this.
All of the players LOVED him cause he went to bat and stood up for them.
Cowboys would love to have him back.
Players did not want him to leave.
Left for a couple yrs of job security.
Smart move on his part, parleyed his Cowboy job to the Missouri job.
In the comments section, this comment said it all:
Dez had the worst season of his career, Cole Beasley’s catches went way down, Terrence Williams was ok, Noah Brown did a little, Brice Butler contributed a little and Ryan Switzer was not much a factor and all the wide outs couldn’t create separation, all to say that Dooley did not do his job this year, which was to coach these guys up. Don’t think he (Dooley) will be missed much.
Yep, Dooley was a great coach in 2016 and a crappy coach in 2017. He must of stopped staying at Holiday Inn Express.
They will now be called Lah Tigers
$2.7 million over 3 years will help with her transition.

Post-Dispatch writer not excited, to say the least, about the Dooley hire.
