3 years for $90M
Good news for Paul. Hope he gets a championship with Denver.
The league has changed. Save for a few teams, the championship is a settled matter for the next few years.
If players want championships they take less money and play with a hoard of superstars. (I think Miami was the first to do this)
Otherwise take the money and make as much as you can. Enjoy life and play in a city that you want to.

Denver is a playoff team now, though likely not a contender. The West is loaded, but with Millsap, Jokic, Faried, Gary Harris and likely George Hill coming, they can win 48 to 50 games and get in the playoffs. It's doubtful they will be able to compete with Golden State or San Antonio, though.

This might be one of the dumbest things you've posted. There's nothing fake about the NBA. There was so much talk after the Cavs beat the Warriors in Game 4 about how the NBA was pulling strings and determining outcomes, how they wanted the series to go seven games, etc. And Golden State promptly came out, won Game 5 and shut all of that talk up.

Apparently Atlanta didn't try to keep Paul. I don't understand why. Can anyone shed some light?
Whatever the deal is, I hope Millsap kills it in Denver!
As it stands, Paul will be the 4th-highest-paid NBA player next season.
