Packer Myles White Looks, Plays 'Like a New Man'

Former Louisiana Tech receiver Myles White looks, plays "like a new man" as he begins his second season with the Green Bay Packers, writes Bob McGinn in today's (7-31-2014) Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Making the team from the practice squad in mid-October last season the undrafted rookie was told by his wide receivers coach that he "had to get bigger,” and he did exactly that, reporting in 12 pounds heavier than he played last season.

And, McGinn writes, White "played like [a new man] Monday in the opening day of pads."

Not the least bit surprised. I was all over Myles' chances of making it in the NFL, and posted as much several times. The Packers have discovered something most of us knew already, MW is (was) a hidden gem. But, he's been found now!

Me too. I called this one out loud right here on BB&B. I predicted he would make an NFL roster. When he burned those TCU defenders for that deep 65-yard TD pass in the Poisettia Bowl, I knew Myles had the talent, as long as he had the heart.
