    2009 NCAA suprises

At the end of the 2012 season in my dynasty, I had 2 MAJOR suprises.

#1. Randy Hardin broke the career TD record (TECH's and National) with 132 TDs. (I actually simulate many games and in alot of those games he throws 4 or 5 TD's)

#2. Bret Turncoat wins the Heisman Trophy with Southern Miss.

I shut a team 140-0 the other day after I left Tech in 2023 and went to West Virginia.

I've considered setting the difficulty down to JV, the quarters to 15 minutes, and playing as a great team against a poor one just to see how bad I could run up the score and how high I could set all the single game records, but I just don't think I could maintain interest.

When I get a good blowout going I tend to start milking the clock. It isn't that I am trying to save the feelings of the other team (since they don't exist), or don't want my guys to get their stats up. It's just that I get so bored with it I'm ready to move on.

I enjoy beating another team badly, but at some point you just get ready for it to be over.

Ok. I'm still not sure I could stay interested enough for that to be fun.

I won't do it again, I'll say that.

I have just joined an online dynasty through Scout. I am taking Alabama.

I had an old roommate that could sit there and pound teams by three digits over and over again, and he giggled like a schoolgirl EVERY TIME. He was just the type to never get bored of anything. It was annoying, because he could also play the same stupid prank over and over, or use the same money play in a football game relentlessly.

I STILL can't defend the pass.
No matter who my DB's are.

Freakin Utah State went 27-29 4TD's.

    I won like 56-28.

I find that it's almost completely worthless on that game to run man coverage defense with Tech or just about anyone else against the pass. I have some success in zone coverage, and you can really screw over the QB if you can get to him a few times and just hit him even if you don't sack him. Calling timeouts and talking to the secondary actually helps when you're having trouble with it as well. Sometimes though, there's just nothing you can do, in which case I blitz like a maniac.

I like to run Broha and Kwame out in the flats in zone or drop Hitt back into a hook zone. That helps a lot. I just never remember to do it.
